Ligature Risks: Complying with CMS and TJC Requirements
This program will focus on the requirements for hospitals to comply with CMS and TJC standards created to safeguard patients who are at risk for suicide or self-harm. The Joint Commission (TJC) announced this is one of the top four focus areas. Additionally, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has adopted these standards and updated their Interpretive Guidelines for Hospitals regarding the assessment and mitigation of ligature risks to prevent suicide or other forms of self-harm. To register online, you will need to log-in first (to obtain log-in information, contact MHA at email@example.com).
